CHICKEN
RECIPE OF THE DAY (October 27th 2006):
Honey Pepper Chicken

Ingredients: 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs,
1 whole red bell pepper, 1 medium onion, 2 tsp. sesame
oil, 1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce, 2 tsp. cornstarch or arrowroot,
3 oz. honey, 4 oz. water
Method: 1. Cut chicken, bell pepper, and onion
into bite-sized pieces. 2. Add oil to a hot pan and
saut the chicken until brown on all sides. 3. Add the
pepper and onion and saut until slightly softened. 4.
Combine soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, and water in a
small glass bowl. Blend until well mixed and pour over
the chicken and vegetables. 5. Cover, and reduce heat
to medium-low. Simmer for about 12 minutes. (serves
4 people)
