CHICKEN
RECIPE OF THE DAY (December 20th 2006):
Hanukkah Cranberry Chicken

Ingredients: 4 pounds chicken pieces (3 breasts,
3 thighs, 3 drumsticks), 1 ounce envelope dry onion
soup mix, 16 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce,
1 cup spicy sweet French dressing
Method: 1. Rinse the chicken properly with
cold water and pat dry. 2. Take a 13- x 9-inch slightly
greased baking dish and place the chicken in a single
layer. 3. Take the soup mix and pour it all over the
chicken. 4. Add cranberry sauce on the chicken and spread
it with a spoon. Top evenly with spicy-sweet French
dressing. 5. Wrap it with aluminum foil. 6. Bake the
chicken at 400° for 40 minutes. After that, remove
the foil. 7. Decrease the temperature and bring it down
to 350°, and bake for about 20 more minutes.
